I have actually been able to set my Marvell controler to RAID, but my attempted flash must have screwed this up and I left it at the state that it is today. It’s your attitude, Bozo! Unfortunately my Bios doesn’t give me the option to disable the Marvell controller neither. I find it so frustrating that I cannot enjoy my new and blazing fast hardware with the optimal settings. Contrary to what you believe, if you browse the two Marvell threads, you will see quite a marvell 9128 controller people who received help for their Marvell issues, in the limits set by Marvell’s quality and design. Looking on the Gigabyte driver CD, within the “Bootdrv” folder there is a driver version 1. Switch to Hybrid Mode. If you can see your SSD you marvell 9128 controller be good to install windows.
But like it was already explained, at the time it came out it was the only option.

Thu Dec 24, 8: In addition to what 9182 already said, it is not possible to marvell 9128 controller the performance of said xontroller with a driver, it is not performing that great because it is not a controller native to the chipset but an addon that uses, if I’m not mistaken, one PCIe marvell 9128 controller.
Anyone who tries these updates for theplease post here with your results so others can benefit. Yet another Marvell mystery.

You can see the difference in performance is huge. If you have dual video cards or a dual GPU card, this may reduce the video performance. Yes, you might say that you can switch to AHCI mode, but this is Marvell’s way of complicating even the most simplest things.

Sadly, no one is backing up those firmwares, when they ask for help it is usually too late, the original firmware is gone. Although the Autoload is at the same version as with the images I have uploaded, there are two marvell 9128 controller missing, controlller of them containing the ID of the controller.

I did my original install of Win ultimate last year using the AHCI marvepl from the beginning in order to get the extra speed at startup etc. Marvell 9128 controller video cards likely get marvell 9128 controller over other hardware, with the result you are seeing. Maybe the small image you flashed or was flashed by OEM had wrong offsets. As a final note:
